Our fresh fish selection is hand picked daily from multiple vendors who receive daily shipments of fresh fish from Japan, Australia, and New Zealand as well as domestic sources including Hawaii, Santa Barbara, and the Pacific Northwest.
In addition to the sushi bar, we also serve Japanese comfort foods including udon, donburi, tempura, broiled fish, teriyaki, sukiyaki, and nabemono (hot pot).
Although we do serve a few sushi rolls, in our efforts to remain true to traditional Japanese cuisine we make every attempt to prepare our sushi in the simplest way possible to enhance the natural flavors of the seasonal fresh fish.
Thanks to our loyal patrons we have been able to serve traditional Japanese food in Monterey Park for the last 25 years and hope to continue to do so for many years to come.
